We’ve made it our life’s work to make Silverado the benchmark of full-size pickups. And we’ve raised the bar yet again. When we set out to perfect our Silverado, not a single component went untouched. We’ve reengineered and reimagined everything from interior and exterior styling to ergonomics and performance. It’s stronger, smarter and more capable than ever.

Designed for truck use

The all-new interior is developed entirely around functionality, but with premium materials and the smartest technologies. The new front seats are built for all-day comfort, and a reimagined use of interior space provides more rear-seat leg room in the Crew Cab. From the driver seat, controls are grouped by function and strategically located for optimum visibility and accessibility. And if you want to talk “organized,” new control pods connect you to top-of-the-line technology while the reconfigurable center console features spaces for laptops, hanging file storage, multiple USB ports^†, and more.

Instruments and steering wheel

A new 6-gauge instrument cluster with an upright design includes the available Enhanced Driver Information Center. It displays your truck’s vital stats like trailer brake settings and coolant temperature. Plus, it works with the available 8-inch Chevrolet MyLink Radio^† to display the channel or song you’re listening to. Best of all, steering wheel-mounted controls allow you to flip through the displays, activate the available heated steering wheel, change songs, and set the cruise control without ever taking your hands off the wheel.

Introducing EcoTec3

The 2014 Silverado offers all-aluminum engines backed by 95 years of truck-making heritage and propelled by innovative technology. And now it’s better than ever before thanks to EcoTec3, an entirely new engine family that optimizes fuel economy and power. Featuring Active Fuel Management, Variable Valve Timing and Direct Injection, EcoTec3 optimizes efficiency based on how you drive. And with three EcoTec3 Engine options, there is one to perfectly meet your driving and hauling needs. No matter which engine you choose, Silverado delivers the most fuel-efficient and powerful pickup lineup ever. (Final EPA estimates not yet available.)

Look the part

The 2014 Silverado is an athlete, muscular yet refined. We’ve taken the classic aesthetics of Silverado to a new level with a taller dual power dome hood, wider, stronger styling and wraparound bumper and fender flares. The signature-stacked headlamps blend Silverado heritage with modern styling. The durable and smartly redesigned pickup box makes it easy to access, organize and secure your cargo.

New wider wheels improve handling

The new half-inch wider 17", 18", and 20" wheels provide greater on-center feel and crisper control during subtle steering movements.

New pickup box design

The new pickup box is expertly crafted from long-lasting roll-formed steel. A 6' 6" box is now available for Crew Cab, giving you more cargo room. Depending on the cab, 8' and 5' 8" box configurations are also available.

Easy-to-use loading features

The top-of-the-line pickup boxes for the 2014 Silverado include smart features that let you customize the way you secure cargo. Organize your cargo how you want with four standard lower tie-downs and four additional available upper tie-downs. Standard bed rail protectors improve damage resistance, load after load.

Masterful, responsive handling

Confidence comes from experience. The all-new Silverado is built on the tradition of giving you the most confident driving and towing possible. Whether you’re off the road or on, cruising the freeway or hauling equipment to the jobsite, Silverado has the capability and know-how you need to get the job done with confidence.

All-new Electric Power Steering

Electric Power Steering enhances efficiency, helps provide a smooth ride and improves handling. It offers different amounts of assistance at different speeds. This means less steering effort in parking lots and a solid, on-center feel at highway speeds.

Four-wheel disc brakes with Duralife^TM rotors

ABS disc brakes on all wheels feature Duralife^TM rotors, which utilize a corrosion-resistant process that hardens the brakes and can double their life expectancy.

Autotrac^® transfer case

This available transfer case works with the StabiliTrak^® and ABS systems to provide enhanced vehicle stability by managing the balance of torque from front to rear.
